For the second time, the UN Global Compact and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) will host the Private Sector Forum on the margins of the Conference of the States Parties (COSP) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) from 15-19 December 2025, in Doha, Qatar.

The 2025 Private Sector Forum will bring together business leaders, Government representatives, and international organizations to explore how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies can transform anti-corruption efforts while addressing critical ethical challenges. Through interactive sessions and multi-stakeholder discussions, participants will share concrete innovative solutions for strengthening business integrity while shaping the global business integrity agenda through global collaboration.

In 2023, the UN Global Compact co-hosted the first ever Private Sector Forum at the tenth Conference of States Parties (CoSP10) to the UN Convention against Corruption, in partnership with UNODC, to raise awareness among Governments of specific private sector challenges and priorities, to better inform their decisions and commitments to fight corruption. During CoSP10, the UN Global Compact presented a Call-to-Action from businesses — signed by 500 companies from 91 countries — urging Governments to intensify and reward anti-corruption efforts.

Governments stepped up to the challenge, with 190 countries committing to adopt incentives for business integrity (see Resolution 10/12, “Providing incentives for the private sector to adopt integrity measures to prevent and combat corruption”).
